Eliptical Exercise Machine

If you're planning to buy an eliptical machine, then plan on spending plenty. Elipticals are fairly expensive machines, more than more exercise machines. And the cheap ones just won't be satsifying.

You can easily tell a cheap eliptical by just trying it out. Try a cheap one and then try an expensive one and you'll feel the difference. The cheap ones (which aren't technically cheap, just cheaper) feel less stable and more flimsy. They also won't have such sophisticated computers as the more expensive ones.

You'll need to spend more than $1000 just to get into the decent ones. And $2000 isn't out of the question at all. So you need to be serious about exercising.
